There are a couple of variations on this one
Leisure is the devils playground. So true, so true.
Yet, staying busy is not the only solution. Actually it is just a distraction from the real solution: being able to control ourselves in times of rest and relaxation. Enter in methods such as yoga, meditation, and prayer.
Someone told me once that the best time to practice mindfulness and deep contemplation is to use our leisure time to quite our minds and find an inner satisfaction that roots out the temptations that call to us when we are not running around busy.

There is a saying that self-cultivation is to patch up the holes in our character. As we continually grow, and give up who we were for who we are becoming, don’t just go about it without some rational analysis of whether we are developing better habits and mentalities.

I recently got to see my favorite band, Soldiers of Jah Army, perform. They looked tired from their long tour (and second show of the night), but it was good to see them.
Few bands write deep, meaningful lyrics. Although, I really like SOJA’s new stuff, I often find myself singing one of their older songs: Rasta Courage.

It is not often that I post on business tips, but I am currently expanding my own business, and like how this quote encourages us to think about others when thinking about business.
Good businesses find a need and seek to provide for that need. Although there is often money involved, the primary concern should be for others and solving problems, not making money.

Some would call this fulfilling our destiny.
Our destiny may be what we make it, but as we come to know our true essence and purpose at a deeper level, I think the instructions in this advice really ring true.
