Some would call this fulfilling our destiny. 

Our destiny may be what we make it, but as we come to know our true essence and purpose at a deeper level, I think the instructions in this advice really ring true.

Nurture the dreams of your heart.

For those of you who know me, I have been going through some life changes in the last two weeks.  A few quotes have helped me through it, the first has been from Mulan II, of all places.

We also ultimately just have one voice to listen to, and that is our own heart and conscience.  If we try to conform too much to others or to social standards we loose some of the essence of who we are.

At the same time, we must balance our excessive tendencies so that we harmonize with the people and world around us.

In building on the previous quote, when we must focus and act, let it be on what is appropriate for the moment.

So much of our life we waste on thoughts and actions not necessary or appropriate for the moment we are living.

So let us live honestly and true to our heart, say what must be said—even when difficult—and follow through with what must be done.

To add to that… don’t do the things we should not either.  Some deeds are hard to come back from.
